France is giving schoolchildren free healthy breakfasts to help kids focus and learn better by reducing hunger. The scheme started with schools in the poorest neighbourhoods.
France isn't the only country providing free breakfasts to children. The US has run a School Breakfast Program since 1966 and the UK has provided free breakfasts to thousands of schoolchildren since 2014.
