Swedish people have an excellent work-life balance and only 1% of the population work more than 50 hours a week.


63% of an average Swede's day is spent eating, sleeping or at leisure.


Sweden is progressive on parenting: the country introduced paid shared parental leave back in 1974.


It's a healthy country of live in: levels of air pollution are half the OECD average and life expectancy is high, at 82.



Sweden has a strong sense of community with 91% of Swedes saying that they have someone to rely on in times of need. 76% of people feel safe walking alone at night.
